Cogiscan creates apps for the electronic assembly industry.
Our company was having major challenges with both our in-house and outsourced technical communications, given the great modularity and configurability of our product as well as the speed at which new functionalities are implemented. Lios started by advising us on a technical communications strategy. Then, they helped us choose the technological tools to support this strategy and walked us through implementing it. Throughout the project, the stages were clearly defined and the results monitored. And Lios met our deadlines and stayed in budget.

Cogiscan offers solutions in several modules that can be tailored to each customer. What’s more, it regularly adds new functions to these apps. While this gives Cogiscan a huge competitive edge, it also makes things much more difficult when the time comes to document their products and to train new clients and partners. So, Cogiscan absolutely needed to find a way for its documentation to stay abreast of its product development to better support its sales team and partners, effectively serve new and current clients, and better welcome new employees. In 2012, it asked Lios for help.
Lios took time to fully understand the situation to identify Cogiscan’s and their clients’ needs and to establish a customized technical communications strategy. We then helped Cogiscan choose the tools and methods it needed to better incorporate the production of documentation into its product development processes.
